Our children have been having lots of fun developing their skills through mark making and cutting activities! From making their own lines, shapes and patterns to carefully using scissors, these simple experiences provide so many valuable opportunities for early learning.

Mark making is an important step towards early writing, while cutting helps children strengthen the muscles in their hands and fingers, develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and concentration. Most importantly, the children are learning, experimenting and building confidence while having lots of fun!

Over the past week, we have had the privilege of celebrating our incredible Class of 2026 across all three of our nurseries. Watching our graduates walk across the stage with confidence, pride and huge smiles has been a wonderful reminder of just how much they have achieved during their time with us.

One of the highlights of our graduations was hearing the kind words shared by so many of our families. Parents spoke about the caring relationships our team has built with their children, the confidence they have gained, the progress they have made, and how prepared they now feel for their next exciting chapter at school. Those comments mean the world to us and are a testament to the passion and dedication our practitioners bring every single day.

What a wonderful afternoon of celebration we had at our Building Blocks Spalding Pre-School Graduation! It was fantastic to see so many families come together to celebrate this very special milestone, creating a brilliant atmosphere as we recognised the achievements of our amazing Pre-School children.

The graduation was incredibly busy, with a room full of proud parents, grandparents, family members, and friends cheering on every child. Watching the confidence, happiness, and excitement on the children’s faces as they sang, performed, and collected their graduation certificates was a moment we’ll never forget.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff team for organising such a memorable event, and to all of our families for your continued support. What an incredible afternoon we had celebrating our Building Blocks Pinchbeck Pre-School Graduation! Holding our graduation off-site made the occasion even more special, giving the children the opportunity to perform in a new environment, in front of their proud families, and celebrate this important milestone together.

We were so proud to watch the confidence our children have developed during their time with us shine through. From standing up in front of a room full of family and friends to singing, performing, and collecting their certificates with huge smiles, every child showed just how much they have grown. These moments are a true reflection of the nurturing environment, encouragement, and opportunities they receive every day at Building Blocks.

We recently had a fantastic visit from the dentist across our nurseries, giving the children a fun and engaging opportunity to learn all about looking after their teeth and why good oral hygiene is so important. Through interactive activities and discussions, the children discovered how to keep their smiles healthy while building confidence in visiting the dentist.

A huge thank you to our wonderful visitors for making the experience so enjoyable and educational for the children. 🪥😁
