On Tuesday we celebrated Purple Day at TASP. 💜

We have been helping Oli Burbage-Hall in his campaign to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK , as nominated by one of our students.

We had a fantastic day, topped off with a visit from Oli and a sports carousel of different activities to raise sponsorship. Thank you to everyone who was able to donate and support this worthy cause!

Look at some of the mini-beasts EYFS have found around our school grounds! 🪱🐞🐛

After learning about lots of different types of minibeasts and finding them, they had a go at designing their own. They used their creativity and imagination to combine different features from a range of creatures. We loved to see how unique each idea was!

Reception love to be outside, whatever the weather. Although recently they have enjoyed lots of sunshine in their purpose built, new outdoor area. ☀

From performances on the stage 🎭, to role play ice cream vans 🍦and football goal celebrations ⚽. Children have been developing their gross motor skills, maths skills, social and emotional understanding and so much more.

Outdoor play provides wonderful learning opportunities. We are lucky to have so many lovely outdoor areas at TASP.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils who recently took part in another volunteering session, this time at Focus4Hope as part of the Trinity IGNITE Platinum Award.

Supporting members of the local community through opportunities like this helps our children develop so much more than skills - it builds confidence, compassion, resilience and an understanding of the positive difference they can make to the lives of others.

In DT, Year 1/2 created story books about Humpty Dumpty with moving mechanisms. 🥚⚙

Their target audience was Reception class, so they made sure that their books were bright, colourful and fun to use.

Reception then came and listened to and read the story with Year 1/2. 😍
