Portsmouth & Petersfield Lindy Hop Beginners Lindy hop courses and intermediate classes Swing dancing is a fantastic way to meet new people, stay fit and learn about the incredible swing era.

At Portsmouth Lindy Hop we teach Lindy Hop, Charleston and East Coast Swing. Lindy hop is our main focus on Thursday evening lessons and there is a large social scene here in the Portsmouth area, making it a perfect hobby to stay fit and socialise. Beginners class starts at 7:30m but get there early so you can find somewhere to park. Intermediate class starts at 9:00 and there is plenty of time for social dancing.

Katie Cobalt’s class has moved to Thursday 1st October!

This time, Katie will be focusing on Solo Jazz. Working on solo dancing is a fantastic way to improve your rhythm, musicality, body movement and confidence — and it can really help your Lindy Hop too!

Everyone is welcome to join us. This is an Improver-level class, so the pace may be a little quicker than our beginner sessions.
