Course Representatives (Course Reps) are elected students who represent their course mate’s opinions and views on educational issues to their Department, the University and the Union. Course Reps are:
Students who help to improve student experience for every course at the University of Portsmouth,
Students who are a virtual link between students, university staff and union staff. Students who actively and regularly collect student feedback on all aspects of university life including their course, Library, IT, teaching, tutors and assessments, and in turn present this to university staff. Students who sit on university committees to channel the opinion of fellow students. Students who receive excellent CV boosting training from the University of Portsmouth’s Students’ Union so they can deal with students’ concerns and compliments or direct students to receive the correct support and guidance. Students who work with each other to ensure the student voice is heard at university committees, and
Students who receive full support and guidance from the Students’ Union and University Staff.
