Fledglings Pre School

Messages were sent out yesterday, that due to the severe heat and the School site we are on closing early, Fledglings will be shutting after the morning session today at 11:45am.

With the lovely warm weather ☀️ we have at the moment and many people heading to the beach 🏖 or having paddling pools💧, please read the leaflet on tips for water safety.
It also includes valuable information on bath times too.

The 'Child Accident Prevention Trust' website is a great source for information.

The end of a busy week ❤️

Fledglings is now closed for the Half Term holidays and we look forward to seeing you when we reopen on Monday 1st June at 8.45am.

We hope you all have a lovely week enjoying the sunshine ☀️

We have a rare opportunity, that we have a few spaces left for September 2026. If you have any friends with children aged 2 years 9 months that may want to join our nurturing setting, then please get them to get in contact with us as soon as possible.

This weekend the Team have been in Dorset.

(Unfortunately Michelle was unable to join us this time).

Having a positive relationship with each other makes us a strong team for the children we teach.

This weekend we completed an army style obstacle course in the rain and rode quad bikes around a variety of muddy tracks. We supported and encouraged each other and had a lot of fun!

We also went for a walk in Bluebell fields, went swimming, ate ice cream and visited the ruins of a castle.

We hope you have all had a lovely bank holiday weekend 😀

On Friday 1st May, the Photographer 📸 will be here. If your child normally attends Friday morning then their photo will be taken during their session. If your child does not normally attend on a Friday morning, then they can be brought to the playground at 9am where a member of staff will take them into the room to have their photo taken.
