I am Delia Stonham, a private tutor who specialises in KS1 and KS2 and preparation for SAT's and 11+. I teach english, maths, clarinet, guitar, flute, piano and music theory. My specialism is with special needs children, I am dyslexia trained and have experience with other co-occurring difficuties like aspergers, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. My aim is to allow children to be themselves - this is how they learn. Confidence building is paramount to children growing in self-esteem. Over the past 20 years I have learnt from my students that only when they are happy and can learn at their own speed do they achieve their very best. All children are individual and unique so all children learn differently.
