First Steps Enterprise Ltd, which runs Kings Kids, is 12 today!

It's our birthday! First Steps Enterprise Limited is 12 today!

12 years that have gone very quickly. Starting as a small employment agency for children's centres, the first three years was Ian working in a room with previous dog, Sally, lying on his feet whilst utilising 54 St James Street, home of The Women's Organisation, as our registered office.

When Ann and Sarah joined we moved into Fifty Four into an office and have been there ever since. The office team now comprises Sarah, Ann, Nataliia, Loukia, Charmaine, Jenny, Bailey (of course!🐶) and Ian, and we have expanded our recruitment services across the region over the years.

We also now operate three nurseries and one after school club in the area of Merseyside, our being first Footprints Netherton, managed by Jackie, itself coming up to 8 years in May and recently Ofsted inspected with a very good scorecard. Our after school club, Footprints at Kings Kids, overseen by Lyndsey, is 8 in August.

Footprints Hatton Hill, managed by Kate, our largest nursery, opended 6 years ago on 16th March, one week before lockdown (mad!), whilst Footprints Kings Meadow, managed by Danielle, is currently in its second year.

And the future? Continue to deliver and grow quality reecuitment services. Expand our Footprints Hatton Hillhattonill nursery after Easter this year. And maybe other settings may follow...we shall see!!

Bookings for early years children aged 3 years and over attending Kings Meadow School Nursery have now resumed. Bookings can be made in the usual way via Magic Booking.
