A reminder that our new term at Sereno School of Dance starts Monday September 7th. We have classes In ballet, modern stage, tap, jazz and a range of adult classes for ballet, tap and our special troupe classes where the pupils learn and rehearse dances to appear on stage, principally at the Opera House in Blackpool. We have now added to this range the Silver Swans, a ballet class for the over 50s and upwards. It is aimed at those of you who have dreamed of learning ballet and never got the chance or, for people with various degrees of expertise ranging from a few months to a few years who would like to start again. It is not too late to enroll in any of these classes children and adults and don't forget the free workshop this Saturday morning, Sept 5th from 10 am to 11.30 am.

To all you people who dreamed of being ballet dancers, never got the chance to go to lessons and now as you have passed 50 or more, feel it is too late. Well, I have news for you. It is not too late. We are so happy to be able to offer you our Silver Swans class. This is for anyone over 50 who has either never had ballet lessons before or has done and would like to start again. We start our new term on Monday September 7th and the Silver Swans class will take place on Thursdays from 5.30 to 6.30. The first class is free and the amount is deducted from that first terms fee. I promise I won't have you trying to do those 32 fouettés (The spinning steps) in Swan Lake. On the other hand ....
Come and give us a try. I think you may well surprise yourself.

We hope you are enjoying the summer holiday. It is nearly time to dust off your dance shoes and hit the dance floor once again. Don't forget our free workshop on Saturday 5th September 10 - 11.30 for anyone out there interested in joining troupe.
