🎯 The shot I’m working on right now… the tiny push draw.

I have a tendency to open up a little too early in the downswing, which can lead to those unwanted pulls and cuts.

So I’ve been using the bowler drill 🎳 with my right foot back to help keep my hips closed for longer and encourage a more rightward swing direction.

Then it’s all about matching that with a clubface that’s slightly closed to the path, but open to the target…

…and that’s the recipe for that little push draw 👌🏻

🎯 TRY THIS DRILL TO IMPROVE CONTACT & CREATE A STRONGER, FLIGHTED TRAJECTORY ⛳️

Visualise punching the ball underneath a crossbar 👇

1️⃣ Move the ball 1–2 balls further back in your stance.

2️⃣ Choke down on the grip a couple of inches.

3️⃣ Set your weight 60/40 towards your front foot.

4️⃣ Create some shaft lean at address.

5️⃣ Feel like you “hit the brakes” through impact, finishing short and cut off.

The goal? Ball first. Ground second. 👌

This visual helps you create a more forward strike, improve contact and develop a stronger, more penetrating ball flight.

⛳️ BEGINNER LESSON ⛳️

A great first session with Marc, a complete beginner who had never had a golf lesson before.

We focused on the foundation of every good golf shot: contact.

By working on:
🏌️‍♂️ Lower body weight forward to control low point
🏌️‍♂️ Managing the radius
🏌️‍♂️ Keeping the arms straight through impact

The result? More centred contact, ball first and ground second, and much greater consistency.
