1. What is HIFU?
HIFU stands for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound. It’s a non-invasive treatment that uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production deep within the skin, resulting in firmer, lifted, and younger-looking skin.
2. What areas can be treated with HIFU?
Common areas include:
• Full face
• Neck
• Jawline
• Chin (double chin)
• Décolletage
• Around the eyes and brows
3. How does HIFU work?
HIFU targets deep layers of the skin (SMAS layer) without damaging the surface. It heats the tissue to stimulate natural collagen production, which lifts and tightens the skin gradually.
4. Is it painful?
Some clients may feel mild discomfort, a tingling or warm sensation during the procedure. No need for numbing cream.
5. How many sessions will I need?
Most clients see results after just one session, but depending on skin laxity and goals, additional sessions may be recommended 9-12 months later for maintenance.
6. When will I see results?
Some tightening can be noticed immediately. Full results develop gradually over 2–3 months as your skin produces new collagen.
7. Is there any downtime?
No. HIFU is non-invasive and has no downtime. You can return to your usual routine right after treatment.
8. How long do results last?
Results typically last 12 to 18 months, depending on individual skin condition, age, and lifestyle.
9. Who is a good candidate for HIFU?
Ideal for clients aged 30–75 with mild to moderate skin laxity. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a natural lift without surgery or injectables.
