📚Cheaper tuition - more effective - how?📚
Now, more than ever, it’s important to consider value for money. I have been teaching for almost the ten year mark (how did that happen!?) and tutored for similar. I have done 1:1 and group tuition as well as my normal class teacher job.
Small group tuition is the way to go, not only because it’s cheaper but provides a lot of benefits you can’t get from 1:1:
✅ Confidence grows - being in smaller groups allows commentary, reflection and feedback so that students know they’re not alone in their learning. It has often led to comments from parents saying how their child is more confident approaching their student or asking a question in class.
✅ Collaborative learning is less pressure - often good camaraderie starts growing in the group and students have found it helpful to bounce of others.
✅ Deepening learning by seeing different perspectives - have you ever been in that position where you’ve explained something to someone a million times and then someone else comes along and explains it once and they get it? Understanding different points of view is important to committing knowledge to long term memory.
✏️These are just a few reasons group tuition is great. So if you’ve made it this far, get in touch with the page and see how we can help your child - no obligation discussion, I am always happy to talk! 📆
