We are looking forward to welcoming the children back to school in September, as well as getting to know all the new starters.

We hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer!

Just a couple of reminders:
1st and 2nd September are INSET days, so school will be closed to pupils on these days.

School meals MUST be pre-booked. If your child is eligible for free school meals, you still need to pre-book, making sure that you complete the process. You MUST checkout not just put the meals in the basket. If you have any difficulties, please contact the school office.

KS1 had an absolutely fantastic time on our recent zoo trip! The
children showcased impeccable behaviour while exploring our
exciting Africa theme. From spotting towering giraffes to roaring
with the lions, they were fully engaged and enthusiastic. Thank you
to all the volunteers who accompanied us for your continued
support in making this adventure so memorable!

On 10th July 2026, we invited parents and carers into school to celebrate the Graduation of our Reception pupils.
We are so proud of all that they have achieved this year and look forward to watching them grow.

Bradwell Pilgrimage
On 2nd July, the Year 3 and 4 children enjoyed the annual Bradwell
Pilgrimage Day at St Peter’s Chapel. They began their visit by exploring
the chapel and learning about its fascinating history, including the
remarkable ancient stones. The children were then split into groups to
take part in a range of engaging activities throughout the day. Despite
the very hot weather, everyone had a wonderful time, showing great
enthusiasm and curiosity. It was a memorable experience, and the
children learnt so much about the site’s history and significance..

Parents and carers – we need your help this summer.

During the school holidays, we often see an increase in deliberate fires started by children and young people. These fires can spread quickly, putting lives, wildlife and property at risk.

If you've noticed your child has developed a fascination with fire, is carrying matches or lighters, comes home smelling of smoke, or you're worried about their behaviour around fire, support is available.

Our Fire Safety Intervention Scheme is a free programme for young people. It provides education and guidance to help prevent fire-setting behaviour before it becomes a bigger problem.
