Welcome to the new school year! 🎒📚

Just a quick reminder to ensure all parents and carers are aware that there will be no Forest School or PE sessions this week.

Forest School and PE will begin from the week commencing 7th September.

Therefore, all children should attend school in their normal school uniform on Thursday and Friday this week.

Welcome Back Soon!🌟

We hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer! There has been lots going on behind the scenes at school over the summer, and we’re really excited to welcome you all back for another fantastic year.

Just a reminder that 1st and 2nd September are INSET days, so school will be closed to pupils on these days.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Rochford Group for all their hard work in clearing our old swimming pool area and helping us take the first exciting steps towards transforming the space into our brand-new Spiritual and Wellbeing Area.

The difference already is incredible, and we are so grateful for the time, effort and support that has gone into clearing what was a very overgrown and unused area.🌱✨

We are delighted to invite our pupils to our Hollywood Glam-themed Leavers' Prom!

This special event will be a wonderful opportunity for the children to celebrate the end of the school year in style, with music, fun, and a touch of red-carpet glamour.

Ticket Information

Year 6 pupils attend FREE
KS1 and Years 3, 4 & 5 tickets: £5.00 per child
A packed lunch will be provided for all KS1, Year 3, 4, & 5
Year 6 will be provided a buffet table
Payment can be made via Arbor.
Please select your child's preferred sandwich filling when purchasing tickets.
Event Times

KS1: 3:15pm – 4:30pm

Years 3, 4 & 5: 3:15pm – 4:45pm

Year 6: 4:00pm – 5:15pm

Dress and Changing Arrangements

Children attending the event from 3:15pm may bring their prom outfits to school and will have the opportunity to change after the school day has ended.

Collection Arrangements

Parents and carers should collect their child from Reception at the end of the event.

We encourage children to dress up in their finest Hollywood-inspired outfits and join us for an afternoon of celebration, laughter, and memorable moments.

We look forward to celebrating with them and making this a truly special occasion.

This afternoon one of our core team, Sammy popped into Tillingham school ahead of the takeover this Sunday. She chatted about what to expect at junior parkrun and get the children hyped up ready for an amazing first takeover with them! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️
