Today is GCSE Results Day, and whatever that envelope holds, we want you to know something before you open it.
We are proud of you and it has nothing to do with the grades.
We are proud of the work you put in, the effort you showed up with, the resilience you found on the hard days, and the young person you are becoming.
These results today are one small piece of a much larger picture.
For some of you, today will feel like everything you hoped for. For others, it might feel complicated, and that is okay too. Both are allowed and neither changes what you are capable of.
What you did this year, the revision, the late nights, the sitting in an exam hall and giving it everything you had, that took extraordinary courage. And that courage goes with you, wherever today takes you next.
To every student we have had the privilege of working with: we see you. We are proud of you. And we cannot wait to see what comes next. ๐

Week 3 of Ready, Set, Succeed starts tomorrow, and it's nearly a full house! ๐
We are so proud of how this summer has gone, and so grateful to every family who has been part of it so far.
If your child still needs a space this week: ๐ญ๐ณ๐๐ต, ๐ญ๐ด๐๐ต ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ญ๐ต๐๐ต ๐๐๐ด๐๐๐, please message us TODAY. Some time slots are already sold out but we do still have limited availability across the three days, and we would love to find something that works for you.
This is the penultimate week. One more after this, then summer is done.
If you've been on the fence, now really is the moment. ๐
๐ Message us to check availability, don't assume it's gone until you've asked. 07909 848975

Can we talk about the last two weeks of August? ๐
Because for a lot of children (and a lot of parents) this is when nerves and a feeling of dread start to creep in.
The holidays have been lovely. But around now, a bit of reluctance starts to appear. A few "I don't want to go back" comments at the dinner table. Maybe some trouble sleeping or a few tears.
Back-to-school anxiety affects far more children than most parents realise, and it tends to peak in exactly these final two weeks, when September suddenly feels very close and very real.
For some children it passes quickly once they're back in the classroom and back with their friends. But for others, particularly children who found something tricky last year, who feel uncertain about a new teacher or a new year group, or who are carrying some unfinished business with a subject they struggled with, the anxiety is telling them something worth listening to.
What those children almost always need isn't more reassurance that it will be fine. It's evidence that it will be fine, evidence that comes from feeling prepared.
A child who arrives in September knowing their times tables are secure, or that they understand something that confused them in July, or that they've already practised the kind of work Year 5 will ask of them, that child walks through the door confidently.
If your child is in that last-two-weeks feeling right now, it might be worth asking what's underneath it. And whether a little focused, calm support over the next fortnight might be exactly what they need.
We still have spaces available in our Summer School for the weeks of 17thโ19th August and 26thโ28th August. Small groups, calm environment, specialist tutors. No pressure, just the kind of confidence that comes from feeling ready.
Message us if you'd like to find out more.

We have just five spaces becoming available in September for Year 3 children, and we wanted to make sure the right families know about them before they go.
Year 3 is such an important year. It's the first full year of Key Stage 2, a step up from everything that came before, and the year when the foundations that will carry children through the rest of primary school really start to be laid.
Some children arrive into Year 3 feeling confident and ready. Others arrive carrying a little uncertainty, about the new expectations, about subjects that felt tricky in Year 2, about whether they're quite where they should be.
Whichever describes your child, having the right support in place from the very start of the year makes an enormous difference. Not just to their progress, but to how they feel about learning.
Five spaces. September. Year 3.
If that's your child, we'd love to hear from you. ๐
