Jazz on the Pier features internationally acclaimed jazz soloists and bands in monthly Sunday lunchtime concerts and regular evening concerts throughout the year, held at the cultural centre situated on the pier at Southend on Sea. The Southend Jazz Festival is held over a weekend in October at the Park Inn Palace Hotel, Southend on Sea, and features the cream of Britain's jazz players in a jazz party setting.
