As most of you know this was my last week teaching in the Southend office. I wanted to wish everyone the best of luck with the rest of their exams and I’m truly going to miss all the amazing students and staff in Southend. I feel so proud of each and every student for overcoming soo many obstacles over the past 1year and just wanted to remind you all to keep on going. I will still be checking up on you all don’t worry! Can’t wait to celebrate you all passing your programme in July.
Thanks again for all my lovely presents and cards. Enjoy the rest of your programme, work hard and have fun. Carmel

Easter Half Term -
Starts the week beginning the 5th April - 9th April 🐰

From Monday 8th March 2021 we will be back in the building. Please note the timetable will return to normal, the same as per recent lockdown. 📚✏️

If any students have loaned a laptop then please return them the week beginning the 8th

All students must now where face coverings at all times along with staff whilst in the building

All students must get a test done regularly and by end of March they can get tests from us

All students will need to have their temperature taken before entering and must sanitise hands on arrival

EEP Session Last Week-
Taking up activities and learning new skills to take advantage of lockdown whilst looking after our mental health. Some of the suggestions was learning an instrument or improving cooking skills and Josh challenged Charlie to learn to cook one new meal a week so his mum doesn’t always have to cook for him. 🥪🍽

During our Votes For Schools virtual session yesterday some of our learners produced some great work, it’s really important to learn about current topics as well as history. The students were set a task to make a story board of the development of Edward Jenner’s Smallpox Vaccine.

Below is a link for online support over the festive period. We know that this year more than ever it’s going to be a hard Christmas for many. Please don’t suffer in silence, if you need help please reach out. There are lots of services available to help whilst CATCH22 are closed.
