JADA Theatre School All round performance based Drama and Arts Academy for ages 3 to Adult in the heart of Southchurch. JADA Management is an Agency designed for young performers.

Owned and operated by Josephine Parsad - Josephines Academy of Drama and Arts (est 2005) is an all round performance based school catering for all ages from 3 years upwards to 25. Classes vary: Drama, Modern/Street Dance, Singing, Glee clubs, LAMDA and ISTD,Musical Theatre and Elocution classes. The JADA family also includes:

JADA Creative Education providing support to schools and groups through the medium of performance covering PPA time, Activities Weeks, Assemblies, TIE, Speech and Language development for disabled groups, working with Young Carers and much more. JADA Corporate Events provides Corporate training through events such as Awareness workshops (covering anything from discrimination to bullying in the workplace), Team building workshops, Murder Mystery Evenings and much more. Finding work for those who wish to perform with industry professionals. JADA is registered with the following Organisations: National Association of Youth Theatres, Arts Council UK, Creative Partnerships, LAMDA, ISTD and is a Validated Learning Destination of the Childrens University.

And just before we return tomorrow introducing our Junior Drama Captain Heidi Salador. Heidi is also a member of our and has been at JADA since she was in the infants. She now helps out on a Tuesday with the little ones;

‘I love helping out with the Infants because it is really fulfilling when you help them have a great time and play games with them. I also love being an example to the Infants. I love Jada because all the people there are just so amazing and inclusive. Never once have I felt excluded or ignored. I love how the group lessons challenge me to push myself and be the best actor I can be, the lessons are never repetitive and the focus changes each week. Jada to me means socialising with my friends and having fun all together acting and laughing together.’
We look forward to welcoming all our new pupils this week. 💛💙🎭

Next up our head mentor Orla Sheehan, Orla takes drama, LAMDA, and dance classes at Jada as well as being in our
‘I’ve been at Jada since I was 5 years old and have loved every show and class I have done. Over the years, Jada has helped me to grow in confidence and teamwork with other pupils, who many i have created lifelong friendships with. I have learnt many great skills from both dance and drama. In dance, I have learnt a range of styles including jazz, modern, contemporary and commercial. I have taken part in many shows The Wizard of Oz, Jungle Book, James and the Giant Peach, The Twits and most recently Anne of green Gables. These experiences have helped me grow not only as a student but a team member, helping others and creating the best memories. Everyone at Jada is supportive,and inspiring , from the teachers to other students. Jada has helped develop not just my skills but also me as a person and has influenced the person i am today.’ Orla is around the studio most days so please say hi and ask for any help.

As we start the new school year it’s time to introduce you to our new school head mentors. First up is Erica Howard-Spitzer. Erica takes Singing, drama and LAMDA at jada and is a part of our having been part of our junior dance company previously.
‘My 11 years at jada has been something I will never forget. I have been through countless lessons and I cannot wait to go to so many more. Jada is a part of me that I treasure to much. Lessons like singing, stage combat, dama and dance. It’s led me to so many different things - even voice acting in films such as Mary Poppins returns and Johnny English strikes again. The shows I’ve done - Antigone, pronoun and treasure island - have taught me so much. Jada is my second home. My second family. There is nowhere else I would rather be during the week.’erica.hs._ you will see her around the studio and helping with classes please say hi xx 🎭

Goodbye and good luck to our leaver she has been a part of JADA for 10 years and taken every single class we have ever offered. Which is incredible in itself; all forms of dance, singing, acting, stage combat and public speaking. A full commitment to the school. From dance events, singing performances, huge shows, being part of our and cleaning up with awards at the southend drama festival each year. You will be sadly missed but we wish you all the luck for uni!! Josephine and all your JADA family 💜🖤

Auditions for senior drama Tuesday 10th March at JADA! Our classes will teach you the following;

🎭 GCSE/ A level drama support
And more! In a world currently losing human connection drama is the best way to bring it back and keep you connected IRL to other people your age.

Happy 🔞 birthday to our gorgeous head mentor Addi joined JADA in reception and is now in year 13! She has taken dance, drama and singing lessons at JADA aswell as regularly helping with the little ones. representing the school in competitions and being a dance teaching assistant. Addi is now studying dance full time at SEC. We are so so proud of the inspiring, kind and talented woman you have become. Watching you grow up with a front row seat is an absolute honour. Thank you Addison for all your love and loyalty to JADA. Enjoy your day.
