Today’s special: cupcakes with extra sprinkles 🧁👩🍳
The Jemima Puddle Duck classroom has been busy baking… well, sort of! Scooping, mixing, decorating and creating with our cake making tuff tray. No recipe required, and apparently there’s no such thing as too many sprinkles. ✨

Who knew getting dressed involved so much work? 👀
Our Dressing Frames let little hands practice the fiddly stuff: buckles, buttons, zips, bows and fastenings, without the rush of actually trying to get out the door.
It’s one of those very simple Montessori activities that quietly builds coordination, concentration and a big one… “I can do it myself.” 🫶

Meet Miss Emma, our artist in residence 🎨🌿
Inspired by both Montessori and the Reggio Emilia approach, Miss Emma encourages our children to explore the many different ways they can express themselves through art, from painting and drawing to sculpture, wire work and creating with nature.
Throughout the week, she holds art sessions with all of our classes, often using real life and natural materials like leaves, pine cones and flowers 🍂🌸
Because sometimes little hands have a lot to say, without needing any words at all 🤍

A very sweet thank you for our Tom Kitten team 🧁💗 One of our lovely families surprised the teachers with this gorgeous cake to thank them for caring for their little one during their time with us 🥹
We’re wishing them all the very best for their next adventure. We’ll miss you! 🦋🤍
