Meet Miss Sophie 🌿

Sophie is our Forest School Leader and Accounts Manager, helping families with spaces availability and enquiries while making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes

With a background in wildlife conservation and currently working towards her Forest School Level 3, Sophie brings her love of nature into nursery life whenever she can.

Growing up with her mum Sarah’s love of Montessori, she has always understood the importance of respecting the child and their own process. Bringing Montessori and Forest School together feels like a very natural fit 💚

Outside of work you’ll usually find Sophie horse riding, with her dogs or spending time with friends.

A simple little invitation bringing stories and small world play together, with lots of room for the children’s imaginations to take over.

A beautiful art shelf isn’t there to make the classroom look Pinterest ready… although it does help ✨

In Montessori the environment is part of the teaching. When materials are visible complete and within reach, children can choose what they need and follow their own ideas without waiting for an adult to lead the way.

Everything has a place, the choices feel manageable and creativity has room to happen.

It also saves us from launching a full investigation into where the glue sticks have gone!
