I tell stories in schools, nurseries, libraries, hospitals, fields, windmills, galleries, at events and festivals, in fact wherever someone will listen.

I can't believe this time last week I was finishing my wonderful week at schools in Paris. It was a great experience and at the weekend I got to relax in the French countryside helping to look for stone curlew nesting sights and monitoring doormice.

I can't believe it's already a week since I was at the wonderful Food Museum with . It was a wonderful weekend of stories and music and people, so much so I didn't take photos. Then another magical evening was had at the press night for Midsummer Nights Dream. Feeling very full of stories and fairy dust

On this beautiful Beltane morning I shall be mixing work with pottering in the garden and reflecting. Not sure how I have reached this half a century, seems like only yesterday there was a single 5 on my cards! I hope, with how ever many years are to come, that I can keep learning and finding joy in the small things like that 5 year old did. I feel very blessed to be able to reach this milestone and will be thinking of some very dear friends who have sadly not been able to.
