Did you know that tomorrow, on the 10th of February, is Chinese New Year ?

2024 is the Year of the Wood Dragon. In Chinese culture, the Dragon holds a significant place as an auspicious and extraordinary creature, unparalleled in talent.

The Dragon is the fifth animal sigh in the Chinese zodiac cycle. If you were born in 2024, 2012, 2000, 1988, 1964, 1952, then your Chinese zodiac sign is Dragon.

Zodiac Dragon’s Personality: Confident, Intelligent.

Lucky colour for 2024: yellow, red.

According to Chinese astrology, 2024 is a Wood Dragon Year. Wood indicated calmness, loyalty, and reliability.

If you plan to foster in the Year of Dragon, it would be a good decision, and Mosaic assist you and your family with therapeutic framework.

Feel free to contact us, and we will answer for all your questions.

As you have already known February is National Children’s Dental Health Month.

Our aims at Mosaic are to work with children, and foster parents to raise awareness about the importance of good oral health, by educating and inspiring young people to enjoy cleaning their teeth.

Here are some tips:
1. It is recommended that kids brush their teeth for 2 mins, 2 times a day.
2. Maintain a regular routine: brush at the same time each day, e.g., before school and before bedtime.
3. Visit the dentist every 6 months for regular cleaning and check-up.
4. Give your child healthy snacks instead of sugar-laden sweets when possible.

Let’s celebrate Children’s Dental Health Month together with Mosaic and help kids for their brighter future.

Is imposter syndrome holding you back from applying?

Myth: I could never do what other foster parents do.

Fact: For Mosaic we train all foster parents to be able to accept a child’s past history and trauma. We work with our foster parents to equip them to help their young person each day to help them heal and succeed, and have faith that the future will be positive because of the seeds of hope that they plant.

Successful foster parents know that they are not doing it alone. They rely on the Mosaic team – social workers, therapists, and other foster parents, friends, and family members.

Don't let imposter syndrome hold you back!

If you’ve considered fostering, send a message or call 0800 233 5570 and we answer all of your questions.
