Thank you to everyone who came to visit us over the past 2 days. It has been lovely seeing friends, old and new. It's also been wonderful seeing the toys, books and equipment we've loved going on to new lives in good homes.

A very special thank you to all of our Paint Pots staff and family for all their hard work, this week and in the many years prior.

It has been difficult, emotional and bittersweet but the team have supported each other, showing courage and vulnerability throughout.

We have toys, books, stationery, climbing frames, tables, chairs and all kinds of school / setting equipment available.

Looking forward to seeing everyone; families welcome, preschool settings including childminders and nurseries all welcome, schools welcome!!

As we prepare to close Paint Pots we are gradually working through clearing all of our inventory.

On Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October from 10am - 3pm we will be opening our doors for parents, preschools, schools, nurseries, childminders and anyone else to come view and buy any items they might like for significantly reduced prices.

We have books, toys, soft play, bikes, scooters, crash mats, tables chairs and all sorts more.

All funds raised will go back into the charity, enabling us to pay our staff redundancy.

Dear Friends of Paint Pots

Please be advised that due to a lack of sustainable funding and a significant increase to running costs, Paint Pots Preschool will permanently close as of Friday the 21st October 2022.

The setting has been operating for more than 50 years and we are all deeply saddened to be making this decision.

If you have recently reached out to arrange a visit or request a place then we apologise for the inconvenience and delay in responding.

Please join the committee in thanking all our staff, past and present, for their care and professionalism over the years.

That’s another school year done!

We’ve come to the end of our last term before the summer holidays. It has been an amazing school year, getting our rising fives ready to move on in September and seeing the children who are staying grow a lot ready for another school term in September as well.

We finished this school year with a school trip to Monkey Bizness in Rochford where the children got to get some energy out and have parents and the staff join in, it was a lot of fun, and tomorrow we have our end of term party!!

During the summer holidays Paint Pots hope to have an open day where parents and children can come to stay and play and experience our setting, this will be the first time we’ve opened up since the start of the pandemic and something we are really excited for.

Congratulations again to all the children who had their graduation last week, it was so wonderful seeing them in their caps and gowns, all ready for their next adventures at primary school!

June round up!

It’s been extra busy here at Paint Pots with new intakes settling in before the summer holidays and all of our "rising fives" getting ready for reception for this coming autumn.

During our sessions this term we’ve been playing in our outdoor space - not forgetting hats and sun cream when we do! Also, playing dress up firefighters and doing our weekly Friday dance sessions with Kat.

To finish this month, we did our occasional lunch discos on Thursdays, where the children can enjoy their lunch together, followed by dancing, playing games and finishing off the afternoon with a snack before home time.
