The old masters did not teach
to be followed.

They taught so that others
might find their own way.

They did not demand loyalty,
for loyalty freely given
needs no demand.

They did not collect rank,
title, obedience or debt.

Their reward was simpler:

to see the student grow,
perhaps even beyond them.

A true teacher does not own the path,
nor those who walk it.

They simply show the way
and ask for nothing in return.

New faces, strengthening and blending seamlessly into the culture and spirit we've worked so hard to build.

It's easy to notice the results; less easy to see the countless hours behind them. This year has been one of steady progress, quiet work, and a few long-held goals finally finding their place.

Still plenty ahead, but grateful for the journey and the people who've shared it.
