Meet Matt, one of our Drum Tutors at the Academy!
Matt’s career as in-demand professional drummer and songwriter/producer has seen him amass over 6 million streams on Spotify alone. Previous tours have taken him across the UK, Europe and Canada. Notable festival appearances would include shows at Reading and Leeds, Isle of Wight through to Montréal Jazz Festival.
Each lesson is taught with a balance of industry skills and performance experience. This prepares aspiring musicians for many situations they may face in their own musical careers.
Everyone’s style is unique, you just might not have discovered it yet. Matt’s ability to identify this and help curate it into something completely individual is one of his best qualities as an educator. Working on these nuances will ultimately help build confidence and trust in your own style.
