Paul completed the PAVE course last year, improved his skills and confidence, and secured the job he wanted. He told us:
"After the redundancy my confidence took a hit and being 63 I was worried I wouldn’t find another job. The course gave me tips on interview techniques and building confidence, along with updates on computer skills.
In May I was offered an interview. I immediately went back to the course’s hand-outs and refreshed my memory. When my interview came along I did apply some of the techniques, and with the belief in myself the course gave me I managed to secure a 6-month contract which should be made permanent. I doubt I would have been able to present myself in a confident manner without attending the course."
