Day off from work today. Celebrated with a 9 mile walk with the hubster and the dog.
Only saw one other person - bliss!
Perfect weather for a walk, lots of fresh air and caught plenty of vitamin D.

Day off work today - hurray! Although I am usually a bit lost on days like this where I don't have back to back commitments.
Walk the dog ✅
Try new work out ✅ (Caroline Girvan Epic 31 (owch) and her kettlebells day 2 (legs) - I am a bit wobbly now!
Put some make up on ✅- I have not bothered in a year and I don't wear much anyway. But feels good to make a bit of an effort!
Clear some clutter ✅ I sometimes struggle to chuck stuff out JUST IN CASE but it has to go!

Nice to see the locals on our walk the other day!
The weather is pretty shocking today but I am looking forward to more time outside as the days get longer and the sunshine hangs around a bit longer.
I am now able to run 5-6k on my wonky ankle without suffering too much the next day.

What a week! In the context of a global pandemic I can't complain but my family and I have had a tough week. Thank goodness for my family and our dog for keeping me going! My sprained ankle has prevented me from exercising and this is how I usually manage stress and boost my mood.
I am going to try running on Friday to see if my ankle holds up.

I managed to injure myself on Thursday - not running, I fell off a step and sprained my ankle! Running is on pause at the moment as I recover. Before I hurt myself I was jogging 5k a day, something I never thought I would be able to achieve a few years ago!
Today I will attempt kettlebells!

February challenge, 100 miles for Refuge. So far I have run 11 miles this week. I am aiming for 25 miles per week to meet the 100 mile target.

Red January 2021 complete!
Please forgive the un PC mug but I liked it.
Yesterday I did 1 hour of yoga and 1 hour of weights.
Today I took the dog out for a long walk but wore walking boots which have ruined my heals.
Now I am a bit worried about running tomorrow thanks to two blisters!

Day 29
First run of January as I have been focusing on HIIT and weights this month so far.
Managed just over 5k without collapsing. Getting ready for the 100 miles for Refuge next month.
I am looking forward to lighter mornings and better weather for more regular runs.
Running outside is so good for my sense of wellbeing and mental health
After a hectic week I am feeling positive and I am looking forward to a relaxed weekend!

Birthday weights, very chuffed
Day 26 and 27
Yesterday I was very busy so managed only dog walks 🐕 which were cold and soggy
Today 45 minutes HIIT Cardio and weights.
Plus 3 dog walks which I very much needed as I do my best thinking / de-stressing when I walk.

Day 25
Cold but sunny today and a day off from work so time for a long walk with the dog and time to exercise.
An hour step class and then 30 minutes of kettlebells. Making up for a very lazy weekend (with cake)!
