❌ Wait for signs of readiness
✅ Change the approach to toilet training
Waiting for your neurodivergent child to be ‘ready’ may not work for them, so let’s change the approach instead of waiting for readiness!
It’s not behaviour and it’s not stubbornness.
Your child may not understand their body signals yet.
👆 That’s why typical toilet training advice fails neurodivergent children.

British Sign Language Day – 28th April 🇬🇧
Today we celebrate British Sign Language (BSL) and celebrate it being officially recognised as an indigenous language of Great Britain when the BSL Act was passed, in 2022. Around 151,000 people in the UK use BSL as their main language — including Deaf people, their families, and communities across the country.
BSL is rich, expressive, and has its own unique grammar and culture. It’s more than communication — it’s identity, community, and inclusion.
