On Monday, we had a very special guest slither into our classrooms… meet Mars the Royal Python! 🐍💚
Mars was an absolute star, capturing the curiosity (and hearts!) of pupils, teachers, and nursing staff alike. From classroom visits to an unexpected appearance at our online staff briefing, he certainly made himself at home!
Mars is a regular visitor to our school, and we love seeing how much he’s growing and thriving each time he comes back. It's always a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to learn up close about these fascinating creatures.
Well… most of us love it anyway… 😉

We’re excited to share that we’ve recently partnered with AQA to offer our students the opportunity to take part in the Unit Award Scheme during their time with us. These awards are designed to support and enhance learning, while also giving students the chance to explore their interests and develop pathways towards future career aspirations. 🌟

Students in Southampton Hospital School have spent this sunny Friday participating in Comic Relief Day by decorating red noses and keeping track of Greg James’ remarkable cycling challenge. They have been following his progress on a map of the UK and learning more about our country’s geography in the process! Relief
