The University of Southampton Student Film Festival

Catch all our submissions on the big screen with our special Film Fest screening event!

We’ll be bringing the films to The Cube once again on Wednesday 22nd June at 5pm and showing every submission we got.

If your film sadly didn’t get a slot at the festival in competition then don’t worry as you can still see it on the big screen with your friends and family here!

Tickets are not required, just turn up, relax and enjoy some great student-made cinema.

If your film didn’t make the schedule for the film festival we apologise however timings are tight so we randomly selected titles after having a bumper crop of submissions.

Do not fear though as we have an exciting upcoming screening night for you to catch all (yes all!) the films on the big screen again in a big marathon session.🥳

The night will be this week and the date will be announced tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled!

You can get free tickets on the door but we suggest booking in advance! Dress code is not essential, but many attendees will be looking smart to celebrate in style so feel free to join in and go all out 😎

Get your FREE ticket now to join us on Sunday 19th June from 7pm-11pm in The Cube (SUSU) for a brilliant evening of student-made films showcased on the big screen.

Expect a red carpet and awards ceremony as we celebrate the best of Southampton’s student filmmakers!

Submissions are still open and don’t close until the 5th June at 11:59pm so if you haven’t submitted yet it’s not too late. Whilst the event is being held at the University of Southampton, Solent University students are actively encouraged to submit and attend.

Southampton Student Film Festival is back for 2022 and submissions are now open!

Currently the festival date is TBC but expect a big evening in June filled with amazing films, complimentary popcorn, drinks and much more…

This is open to any student filmmaker in Southampton so get submitting now!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Film Festival last night! It was a fantastic turn out and we hope you guys loved all the films as much as we did! Congratulations again to all submissions and nominees this year!
