Private sound zones within cars to be trialled in EPSRC Doctoral Prize | Engineering | University of Southampton Postgraduate research student Daniel Wallace will test sound zones for private in-car phone calls in a new Doctoral Prize Fellowship at the University of Southampton.

We're delighted to share news that one of our flagship facilities, the Large Anechoic Chamber, is being renovated after a generous donation from John Gozzard. We look forward to welcoming all of you to see the updated facilities once they've been completed.
A generous half-a-million pound gift to the University - from the estate of inventor and engineer John Gozzard - will allow the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research (ISVR) to upgrade its world-leading anechoic chambers.
