All new adults and children aged over 16 working or living in your home must complete an enhanced, home based DBS application. You apply through this page: https://www.ofsteddbsapplication.co.uk
Don’t forget, when you start a DBS application, you must also complete an identity check for the applicant. Details of how to do this are available on the Capita website, this includes a YouTube tutorial video on the link above. If the ID check and section Y is not completed within six months of the start of the application, Capita will close your DBS application. You will then have to start a new DBS application and pay another fee. Your registration may also be at risk of cancellation as it is a requirement to supply Ofsted with this information.
