Anne Neville was born on 11th June 1456 and died on 16th March 1485. She was the daughter of Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick. As coheiress to one of the most powerful and wealthy men in England, she was a significant woman. Her importance led to her marriage to Prince Edward (of Westminster) and following his death at the Battle of Tewkesbury, to Richard Duke of Gloucester. Anne gave birth to one son, Edward (of Middleham). His date of birth is disputed. Her son died at a young age, in 1484. Anne herself was to pass away at a young age, dying in 1485.
