Hi everyone,
With the Amber Weather Warning in place, please be assured we will be following the government guidance to make sure that the children & staff remain safe.

Please make sure the children bring in sun hats have sun cream applied before arriving, wear loose fitting clothes that cover their shoulders.

Please can you also bring in spare clothes in their bag as we will have lots of water play.

For the safety of your children, if they appear to be struggling in the heat we will contact you.

We have been learning all about different types of transport and what they can be used for. Today we set up a garage for the children to fill the bikes with petrol, mend them with the tools, pump up the tyres and book appointments. We also set up small world play with the hospital fire station and police station.
The children have been involved with making a large boat, and we set up an area for cooking as the children have made their own microwave, fridge, cooker and washing machine. It has been a very busy week so far and the children are constantly learning

The successful candidate will be an experienced early years professional who can support children and families within our community with compassion, sensitivity, and a strong focus on achieving the best outcomes for every child.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲:
✅ Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
✅ A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
✅ The ability to respond confidently to the diverse needs of families

We’re looking for someone who truly embodies the Oasis ethos of inclusion, equality, healthy relationships, hope, and perseverance.

🕒 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀:
28 hours per week (working pattern to be discussed at interview)

💡 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:
- Strong knowledge of working in a preschool setting
- Good understanding of EYFS
- A positive and effective team player
- Sound understanding of child development and individual needs
- Ability to build strong relationships with parents and encourage involvement
- Calm, adaptable, and able to thrive in a busy environment
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
