We’re very excited to welcome the lovely Ella to our Explorers family! 💛

Ella has joined us as our new apprentice and has already been getting stuck in, getting to know the children and becoming part of the team. 🥰

It’s Aveen’s birthday! 🥳💕

A HUGE Happy Birthday to our lovely Aveen! We hope you have the most fabulous day filled with lots of smiles, treats and, most importantly… CAKE! 🎂✨

🎶 Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside… 🎶 🏖️☀️

Preschool brought the beach to Explorers! 🐚🐟

The children took off their shoes and socks and got stuck into exploring the wet sand between their toes! Using buckets and spades, they dug, scooped and built their very own sandcastles amongst the shells and sea creatures. 🏰🐚

And what better way to keep cool than with some colourful ice? 🧊🎨 The children painted and explored the ice as it melted, noticing the different colours and experimenting with what happened when they mixed them together.

“I have blue ice!” 💙 “I have green ice!” 💚

A lovely day of sensory, messy and VERY summery fun! ☀️🏖️💛

🦎🐍 ZooLab came to visit! 🐌🪲

We had a very exciting visit from ZooLab this week, giving the children the chance to get up close and meet some amazing creatures!

Our babies were incredibly brave as they explored and experienced snakes, snails, stick insects and more. There were lots of curious little faces, gentle touches and some very brave hands! 🥰

What a fantastic hands-on experience for our little explorers! 💚

🫧 Sensory fun in Preschool today! 🫧

Our children explored foam, water, tweezers and colourful pom poms, developing their fine motor skills, counting, colour recognition and imagination through play.

One child proudly said, “Look, I’ve put cherries on the top!” 🍒💚

🍍🌴 Happy Tropical Fruit Day! 🥭🍉

This week our children have been exploring a variety of tropical fruits! They enjoyed a trip to Lidl to choose different fruits before returning to nursery to explore the colours, textures and flavours through tasting.

Our Preschool children also got creative by making a delicious watermelon fruit pizza! 🍉🍓🥝

A fun week full of healthy eating, new experiences and lots of smiles! 💛

🌿💛 Wellbeing Wednesday 💛🌿

A little something for our amazing team today 🥰

Take what you need… a face mask, a herbal tea, some quiet colouring, a word of affirmation or simply a little reminder that you are appreciated and the work you do is noticed 💕

Because looking after little people is a big job, and sometimes we all need a little moment to look after ourselves too 🫶🏻✨

👐💚 Little hands, big exploring! 💚👐

Our babies have been getting stuck into the playdough, squishing, squeezing, patting and exploring! 🥰

It might look like lots of messy fun (and it definitely is! 😂), but those little hands are working hard building strength, developing fine motor skills and discovering new textures through sensory play ✨

Lots of curiosity, concentration and, most importantly, happy little explorers! 🚀💚

Sometimes the simplest play brings the biggest learning 🥰

A HUGE congratulations to our lovely Amber, who has officially graduated from Southampton Solent University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology with Counselling and Mental Health! 🎓👏

What an incredible achievement and a true reflection of all the hard work, dedication and determination Amber has put in along the way 💚
