🌱 The ‘Harvest’ of Care!!! 🌱We couldn’t be prouder of this young man…a former Sakura Care resident who has continued to grow, achieve, and thrive since leaving our service. 🌟The video above is a beautiful testament to his journey, as he’s recently been recognised and awarded for his hard work and determination in supporting members of the community. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. We might not be with young people long enough to see the benefits of our work with them, but every little love, care and support counts. It really is beautiful to experience and reinforces the lesson that with the right support, belief, and opportunities, young people can flourish far beyond the walls of our homes, and we are honoured to have been a small part of that story. Congrats M 👏

Support with Learning:

At Sakura Care, we recognize the crucial role that tailored educational support plays in the lives of young people. That’s why we’ve invested in a dedicated Learning Support staff member, whose sole focus is to help our young people engage with and thrive in their academic pursuits.

This approach has already shown significant positive outcomes, not only in academic progress but also in boosting confidence, routine, and a sense of purpose. Learning support acts as a bridge, helping young people maintain momentum and motivation, even during transitional periods.

A recent example of this is B, one of our young people, who received consistent educational support while awaiting the start of his college course. Instead of falling into a gap or losing interest, B remained engaged and prepared, a clear demonstration of the impact this support can have.

We strongly encourage other providers to consider adopting similar practices. Investing in education is investing in futures, and the results speak for themselves.

Keep Attacking 💪🏃‍♂️

April 2025 saw some of our young people take on an adrenaline-charged 4-mile (with an optional 8-mile!) obstacle challenge, complete with steep inclines, icy water, and rugged woodland terrain.

Hosted by & Brian Wood MC, the event was a huge success, with two of our young people securing 2nd and 3rd place 🥈🥉
- an incredible achievement!! ☺️

The importance of events like this cannot be overstated. They build resilience, confidence, teamwork, and self-belief. As corporate parents, we are proud to not only celebrate these moments but also to play an active role in supporting our young people to access opportunities that push boundaries and unlock potential.

September 2025, will see hosting another keep attacking event where we hope to get a few more young people engaged.

Here’s to more milestones, more challenges, and more victories 🙌

✨ A Success Story Worth Sharing ✨

Behind every young person’s progress is a team that believes in them… even on the tough days.

This is what happens when staff don’t give up.
When they listen, understand, and stay consistent, even when it’s hard.

Progress takes time. It takes trust. And most of all, it takes people who care deeply.

This is why we do what we do.

This isn’t a housing advert: This is a glimpse into what Supported Accommodation can and should look like. At Sakura Care, we believe that every young person deserves more than just a roof over their head…They deserve a space that feels safe, warm, and thoughtfully made for them. 🏠💙Every corner of our homes reflect our commitment to high standards, but more importantly, they reflect our respect for the young people we support.Because when we create spaces with dignity, we send a clear message saying…You matter. Your environment matters. Your future matters.
