This morning, we shared a few bakery treats with our team as a small token of appreciation for their continued hard work, dedication and commitment. Thank you to our local bakery Biglands Bakery for providing us with these fresh yummy treats so last minute.

The children have been busy helping Sophie in the kitchen today. They were helping prepare everything for their lunch and tea- We had quiche with vegetables and new potatoes for lunch, and then we had pizza muffins with a selection of fruits for tea. In the children’s words… “Can we help cook tomorrow”, “Can we make cupcakes”. “My pizza muffins were yummy, I ate them, all”. It is lovely to see the children learning new skills, building confidence and having fun whilst they cook. Well done team! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Today we celebrated our “class of 2026 “who will be leaving us for their next journey to school, we are extremely proud of how each of the children has developed during their time at Sunrise and we wish all the children and our families every success as you start this new exciting chapter! We hope you had as much fun as we did at the party.

Our baby room has been busy trying a selection of exotic fruits that we got from our local fruit shop, as you can see, they went down like a treat. 🫐
