Sunrise Day Nursery

Our preschool children had a lovely visit from the team at family hub, they shared the story “The Hungry Caterpillar” and the children had a lovely time acting out the story and engaging in this session.

Our staff enjoyed team buffet day last week! Each staff member added a food item to the buffet table for everyone to enjoy on their lunch breaks. 😊

We are delighted to share with you that Loxley has completed her level 3 qualification! Loxley has been working as an apprentice at Sunrise whilst gaining her qualification. Congratulations – We are lucky to have you as a part of our team!

Our baby room have been busy exploring in the sensory room… A sensory room supports children`s development across multiple areas in a calm, engaging way.

Our pre school children have been learning about recycling, they created a recycling box in our entrance area for people to place their recycling in last week. The children were very excited this morning when they went to check the box and found that the recycling box was full, the children then took all the recycled pieces in the art room to create some art masterpieces.

Our over twos had a lovely visit to Southampton City College early years department this week... These were some of the lovely activities set up for the children to engage in…
