A fantastic day of learning, leadership and collaboration at our annual Partnerships Day! 🌟
We welcomed more than 300 pupils from local primary schools who came together to enjoy a packed programme of workshops, sport and creative activities. From shooting water rockets and Bollywood dancing to music, drama and team games, there was something for everyone.
A special well done to our Year 10 pupils, who did an outstanding job welcoming visitors, leading activities and helping the day run so smoothly.

A day to remember at Buckingham Palace! 👑
Congratulations to our students who recently celebrated achieving their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at a special event in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, marking both their outstanding accomplishment and the 70th anniversary of the charity.
Achieving Gold DofE requires an exceptional level of commitment over many months, with participants dedicating themselves to volunteering, developing new skills, improving their physical fitness and completing challenging expeditions. As part of the Gold Award, students also undertake a five-day residential project with people they have never met before. Our award holders embraced this challenge through activities including a sailing course to gain their RYA Crew Certificate, a residential cookery programme and a finance industry summer school.
Well done to all involved. A fitting celebration for an extraordinary commitment.

What a journey! ✈️
Our Lower School cast and crew took audiences on an unforgettable adventure last week with their production of Around the World in 80 Days. From the bustling streets of Victorian London to far-flung destinations across the globe, the show was packed with energy and imagination.
A huge congratulations to all of our performers, musicians, backstage crew and staff who worked so hard to bring this production to life. Thank you to everyone who came along to support them, we hope you enjoyed the ride!

Congratulations to our Year 8 pupils Anathi, Nathan and David who represented us at an inter-school debating competition hosted by Swanmore College.
Taking on the challenging motion, “This House would hold the world's largest historic polluters legally liable for the climate-related loss and damage suffered by developing nations,” the team impressed the judges with their well-researched arguments, confidence and articulate delivery.
Although they narrowly missed out on victory in a closely contested debate, the judges praised the team's debating style and strength of argument, with David receiving the award for Best Speaker. An outstanding achievement, especially as this was their first formal debating competition.

Exploring the dynamic coastline at Calshot 🌊
Last week, our Lower Sixth geographers were hard at work developing their skills on a trip down to the coast. They explored concepts such as place identity, coastal morphology and marine processes. Despite unpredictable coastal weather (and a few waterproof layers!), pupils showed outstanding commitment to starting their own independent investigations.

A brilliant year of mathematical achievement for our students!
Pupils across all year groups have taken part in UK Mathematics Trust challenges, with many earning gold awards and progressing to the prestigious Kangaroo and Mathematical Olympiad rounds. The year 7 & 8 pupils pictured had just completed those competitions and were still smiling!
We're also delighted to celebrate Bertie, who was awarded second prize in the University of Southampton Mathematics Challenge, an outstanding achievement against strong competition.
Congratulations to all of our mathematicians for their hard work, enthusiasm and impressive accomplishments throughout the year.
Following on from our post last week, we asked our alumni guest speakers for their best advice for life after school at university or in the world of work. Our Old Edwardians were speaking at Open Forum, an exclusive weekly session for our Sixth Form pupils where they hear from inspiring speakers from across many different industries. Feeling inspired?
