Green Cabin and Blue cabin had a walk around the local area on Friday to enjoy some of the amazing local scarecrows. Its lovely to support the local community in raising money for the firefighter charity in such a fun and joyful way. The children enjoyed looking for the different scarecrows and the nice fresh air before coming back for their afternoon tea.

Join me in giving a big warm welcome to our new nursery Apprentice in green cabin Emily.

Emily has been studying at another setting and has lots of ideas she can bring to our team, she is near the end of her apprenticeship and has settled in really well this week. Emily said she has had a really good first week and is enjoying being part of the team.

A big thank you to everyone who came today for our teddy bears picnic, the children had lots of fun and it was lovely to see so many faces.

A big shout out to all the team who (as always) made the event special by organising activities, preparing special food and supporting the event! You are amazing. ☺️

Tuesday 15th September is a chance to have your child professionally photographed. If your child attends in the morning they will have the opportunity to have some photos taken but if they don't and you would like to join us please let the office know and we can arrange a time for you. These will be ready in time for Christmas and the company have great Christmas props. Hope to see you then.

🌈 Exploring colour through marble painting. 🌈

In preschool the children have been exploring with colour. Using their fine motor skills to squeeze the pipettes and watch the colour fall into the water. the children then placed piece if paper and watched as the colours all connected with each other. The children were fascinated with the different colours and used creative language to talk about how they blended together.

Our school leavers have had so much fun over the past few days here at nursery! 🎉

We’ve celebrated their time with us by throwing dance parties, playing lots of games and making some very special memories together as they get ready to move on to the next exciting chapter of their learning journey. 💛

We hope you all have the most amazing time at school! We are going to miss you all so much, but we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you’ll achieve. 🌟
