Outdoor learning has always been a passion of mine and I have continuously been seeking new ways to utilise the wonders of the outdoor learning environment to motivate pupils and enhance learning opportunities. A very powerful campaign launches today. Please share it far and wide to help do what we can to save nature in Britain. https://www.wildlifetrusts.org/wilder-future?fbclid=IwAR1vhGzwIoG9-4-Q7kuhNYwvttDM5nffPlklzWVVQv5YA92KQjLri_WVgDc
Hello. Sorry this page has been quiet for a while, I just wanted to give people an update. Curious Creatures began its big adventure 5 years ago. It's been an amazing 5 years which has allowed me to create many magical, memorable outdoor experiences with both my own and others little ones and I have learnt so much along the way. I have still been teaching in schools during this time and in September I started a new, exciting position as Outdoor Learning teacher in a local infant school. In January I will be taking on a new teaching post alongside this so I will be very busy for a while. I am not saying goodbye to Curious Creatures forever but just taking up other lovely opportunities at the moment. Thanks for all the support in the last 5 years, it really has been amazing and I will miss seeing you all.
So I guess there's only one thing left to say:
See you Later Alligators....in a while crocodile...had a thriller big gorilla...bye bye butterfly..give a hug ladybug...toodle-ee-oo kangaroo.... got to s**t kitty cat...out the door dinosaur...ROOOOOAAAARRR!!!!! π¦π΅ππ¦πΆπ¦ππ±π»π¦πΈπ¦π³π§π¦ππ²π³π»π·οΈππππ±
Great news for endangered species.

Trekkers after school club read Rainbow Bear by Michael Morpurgo today. We went on a huge colour hunt and discovered our September meadow has every colour of the rainbow in it. Some of us even experimented with rubbing leaves and berries to create rainbow colours.
