We’re excited to be at the University of Southampton at Staff Benefits fair event today from 10:00–14:00!

You’ll find Impact A&C Southampton at the fair, where we’ll be sharing how children aged 5–17 can move beyond simply consuming technology to actually create it.

At our stand, you can explore:
* Real student projects;
* How your children could learn coding through hands-on, creative activities;
* How we build confidence, problem-solving skills & future-ready thinking.

We’re also delighted to be contributing to the event prize draw with 3 special awards 🎁: One-month scholarships for children to join our coding & creative technologies programmes.

If you’re attending the event today, come and say hello—we’d love to meet you, show you what our students are building, and answer any questions about how your child can get started.

If you can’t attend but would like more information about our special offer for University of Southampton staff, kindly secured by Geraldine Witt , just comment UNIVERSITY and we'll get back to you.

Otherwise see you there!

Screen Time! That’s something that alerts most parents, but that’s not the only concern anymore. Children today are growing up in a world where communication isn’t limited to classrooms but extends to digital spaces. Online awareness, critical thinking, and safe communication are becoming equally important.

Building confident children today means preparing them for both real-world interactions and digital environments.

Here are 5 ways we as parents can protect our kids online!

One of the most common questions we hear from parents is: “My child already learns Scratch in school, why would they need extra classes?” 🤔

Scratch is often a child’s first step into coding!

In our 8–10-year-old classes, children go beyond the school curriculum and learn how to think, build and create their own projects with confidence. From games and animations to understanding logic and problem-solving, every session is designed to make learning feel natural and engaging ✨

In our last class before Easter, we decided to make our classes full of fun, learning and creative!

Our 5–7 year olds designed their own Easter eggs and rabbits and brought them into their games, while our 8–10 year olds built Easter egg hunt games with music and interactive elements 🎮🎶

It’s always amazing to see how children take an idea and turn it into something completely their own.

Because when learning feels like this, creativity and confidence grow naturally 💛

With the Easter holidays, screen time naturally increases and managing it can feel overwhelming.

From new apps to AI chatbots and social media trends, the digital world is evolving quickly. A few small changes at home can make a big difference in keeping children safe online.

Simple things like keeping devices in shared spaces, turning off live location, or setting screen-free times can help create healthier habits.

To make this easier, we’ve created a free Family Easter Digital Agreement that you can fill in together with your child setting clear expectations without constant reminders.

DM EASTER and we’ll send it to you 💛

Note for Parents: Keeping this on the fridge makes it "official" but keep it lighthearted! If a rule is broken, refer back to the paper as a reminder of the "team goal" rather than a reason for a row.
