We celebrated International Day of Women in Maritime today at our Warsash Women’s Support Group monthly drop-in with special visitor Vice-Chancellor Karen Stanton. It’s great to get together and support IMO’s aim for a barrier-free working environment for women in maritime.

** NEW OPPORTUNITY** Are you stuck at home, on a yacht or in a yard? Would you like to make the most of these long winter months?
There is a great new opportunity for yacht crew to obtain an OOW Unlimited by blended learning: Study the first 5 months remotely from where you are (no need to endure the rain in the UK!), followed by one month at Warsash for simulators and other practical courses.
The programme includes live lectures and tutorials; we support you throughout the process and don’t leave you to just self-study. Includes orals prep, this course achieves excellent pass rates! The course is for yacht crew only. Starts 26th October 2020, places are limited. Get in touch for more info: [email protected]

Good news for engineers! We have been given permission to deliver the MCA management level EK courses and the superyacht small vessel engineering courses online during the Covid-19 crisis.
Delivery will be through a mix of pre-recorded lectures, webinars and live seminars, using the University's virtual learning environment. Students will be able to access a range of resources just as they would in the classroom, and have group discussions and one-to-one discussions with teaching staff to prepare them for the SQA written exams and the MCA oral exams - all from the comfort of their home.
We are the first education provider to offer these courses online. You don't need to travel and we can take last minute bookings! Contact our admissions team for more information and our schedule: [email protected]

How was it only a week ago that we were in Monaco?! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces at the Monaco Yacht Show, and meet new people too. We hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did!
