My name is Immaculate and I’m a PhD student at the University of Southampton. I am a nutritionist by background and I am currently working on a research study to improve diabetes outcomes for people of black African backgrounds living in the UK.
Previous studies and conversations with people managing diabetes have highlighted some of the challenges they face. In order to try and address some of these challenges, and develop resources that are useful in type 2 diabetes self-management, we aim to speak to you about your daily experience of living with diabetes as a black African/ Caribbean.
