What lovely news to receive that our Principal Jena and junior student Eliza were nominated for Sunshine Awards at the All England South Regional Finals!☀️💛

Jena was awarded the highest tier, level 3, award which recognises exceptional leadership in kindness, goodwill and school spirit!🌞

Eliza was awarded the level 2 sunshine star for having a consistent positive impact throughout the school community and being so supportive of the whole team throughout the week🌟

Huge congratulations to Bella & Eliza who have been short waitlisted for the Royal Ballet School Mid Associate programme and to Isabella who has been placed on the waitlist & offered the Online Junior Associates programme!🩰

A true testament to your hard work and dedication to your ballet work. Well done girls a lovely achievement - we are very proud of you all🧑‍🩰🌟

💜ALL ENGLAND REGIONAL FINALS 2026💜

Wow wow wow!!! We’ve needed a a week to let it all sink in, and we are still bursting with pride💐🏆

The teachers and I could not be prouder of every Sylvan dancer who represented the school at this year’s All England Dance Regional Finals. This year, we have achieved record-breaking results, qualifying 7 groups, 7 solos, along with duets and quartets for the National Finals in July. For a small dance school, this is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the hard work of our dancers, teachers, and families!🥰

What makes us proudest is not just the results, but the personal bests and growth we have witnessed throughout the season. Time and time again, our dancers continue to raise the bar, and this year was no exception.
Congratulations to every performer who stepped onto that stage, you have represented Sylvan beautifully🫶🏻

Now it’s time to get back to work and prepare for the National Finals in Eastbourne! 🏖️✨🌟

Over the half term, 35 of our dancers will be competing at the All England Dance South Regional Finals and we couldn’t be prouder 💜

With 49 solos, 7 duets, 3 trios/quartets and 10 groups qualifying for the regional finals, this season has already been a huge success!
