Friday 17th October is National Nursery Practitioner Day. We have an incredible team of practitioners and today we took time to say thank you with a little gift and a bacon roll. The team are dedicated to the children and make Little Gardners the fun and caring place it is, we couldn’t do it without them.

The waterside food bank accepts any non-perishable items, but the items below are what they are in need of most right now.
Toilet rolls , canned fruit , long-life milk , Breakfast cereals , instant mashed potatoes , rice pudding , toiletries , canned sweetcorn and any type of wet dog food.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

This year, Little Gardners Nursery will be celebrating the harvest festival, where the children will be taking part in lots of exciting activities throughout the week, and we are asking parents to donate any non-perishable items, which we will then donate to the Waterside Food Bank.

The time has come for us to find our next manager, as you all know Heather and her family will be leaving us due to her husband's new posting. We are looking for a qualified and experienced manager to continue the progress we are making and complete the team. Please get in touch if you are interested: [email protected] or 02380868700. September marks the start of a new academic year! This means we have bid our final goodbyes to 15 amazing children as they begin Primary School. We are so thankful to have been chosen to support these children in their early years. We wish them all the best on this next exciting adventure. We had a party in July, but our last children left us last week. It has been an emotional 6 weeks saying farewell, Sue needed a lot of tissues.

🐛Caterpillar Room🐛 had a great time last week exploring different summer sensory activities. They got to explore colours and textures, and enjoyed the mud kitchen. The children made their own jelly and ice lollies. Bring back the sun ☀️

🦋 Butterfly Room 🦋 had a fun week exploring the book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt 🐻 We had sensory activities, mask making and even made some bear biscuits.

🐝Been a busy time in Butterfly Room 🐝 Beekeepers came in to teach the children about the importance of bees and how to look after them. They got to taste some honey and dress up as a beekeeper. 🐝🐝🐝🐝
