Thanks to Eva Best for speaking at last night’s City Eye Film Network. Eva shared insights into her viral sitcom pilot about an eccentric rural CAR BOOT sale and its cast of endearing characters, which has received fantastic feedback since being posted online. It was also great to have some of the cast and crew in attendance.

We can’t wait to see where the project goes next.

GUEST SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT - EVA BEST

We are delighted to welcome Eva Best to the next City Eye Film Network. 7pm, Tuesday 12 May at City Eye, Southampton.

Eva Best () is an actress, writer, and filmmaker working across film, television, and theatre. Since beginning to share her work online, she has built a growing audience, with her content surpassing 500,000 views and gaining industry recognition for its distinctive voice and sharp comedic tone.

She is currently writing, directing, and starring in CAR BOOT - a viral mockumentary set within the world of rural car boot sales. The project offers a satirical yet affectionate look at second-hand selling culture in England, brought to life through a cast of eccentric and memorable characters.

We are excited to share these frames from ‘The Sister Queens’ a new film which documents artist and sculptor Amy Goodman as she works to complete two bronze statues of HM Queen Elizabeth II. The first of which was unveiled in Riverside Park, Andover, in September 2024.
