Today we welcomed Early Career Teachers from across Aspire Community Trust, The Mountbatten School and to Cantell for a day of training, discussion and collaboration.

It was a great chance to share ideas, reflect on classroom practice and learn from one another as the new academic year gets underway.

Thank you to everyone who joined us - we’re looking forward to continuing these conversations in the sessions ahead.

A very moment for our Cantell community! 💙

Oscar and Wilson have been involved in raising awareness with Tourettes Action, and last year they had the opportunity to take part in the charity’s Misunderstood music video as members of the TS choir.

We’re delighted to share that Misunderstood has now won Best Small Charity Film at the 2026 Third Sector Awards 🏆

The film was created to challenge misconceptions and help people better understand the reality of living with Tourette syndrome, so it’s wonderful to see such an important project recognised in this way.

Oscar and Wilson should feel incredibly proud of the part they played - and we’re very proud of them too.

The first EMPOWER Hot Chocolate with Mr Kutty of the year is always a special one!☕

Students are nominated by staff for showing our EMPOWER skills and values throughout the week, and this morning it was lovely to see them being celebrated for the way they had stood out.

They were so happy to be there, and some even decided to show off their talents in the hope of earning an extra one 😄

We were delighted to welcome Solange Chamberlain and her team from NatWest Retail today to showcase our partnership with NatWest, celebrate what we’ve achieved together, and explore exciting opportunities for future collaboration.

It was a great chance to share our work, exchange ideas, and look at how we can continue to build on what is already a fantastic partnership.

What a result to wake up to! ⚽🔥

Our team came away with a brilliant 8–3 win at Bitterne Park yesterday, but the scoreline was only part of the story.

They showed real maturity throughout the match, staying calm, positive and resilient even in some challenging moments, and represented Cantell brilliantly from start to finish.

Mr Green and the team couldn’t be prouder of both the performance and the attitude shown. A great result all round! 👏
