Please find attached information regarding some exciting Girls Only Basketball Sessions being delivered by the Solent Kestrels.

These sessions are aimed at girls aged 10–13 and provide a fantastic opportunity for young people to get involved in basketball in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.

📍 Woodlands Community College
🕕 Wednesdays 6:00pm–7:00pm

The sessions are perfect for girls who are:
Completely new to basketball
- Looking to build confidence in sport
- Wanting to try something new with friends
- Already playing and wanting extra opportunities to develop

Sports Day - Fri 22nd May. 🏃🏾‍➡️🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️🏆

So with 2 days to go until sports day, we wanted to make sure everyone is aware that the weather is due to be warm (currently 26°C).🌞🥵

Therefore we must insist every child has a large WATER BOTTLE for the day and we encourage parents to bring extra ones with you. Also please make sure all pupils are wearing appropriate footwear and clothing for the day! SUNCREAM is a must.

If we decide that it is not safe to proceed with the sports day 😢 , we will be informing everyone by 10am on the day.

We are hoping for cloud cover and a cooler afternoon.

Good afternoon,

We wanted to share an offer from Southampton FC to help promote the upcoming Junior Takeover for the game against Oxford United on 21st March at St. Mary's Stadium. We are asking if you would be happy to share with your families to see if it would be something they would be interested in.

There is lots of exciting activities going on pre-match in the Family Zone as well as some competitions junior fans can enter for their chance to be a part of the matchday. The competitions are...

Become a Junior Presenter - Fans will need to email in a video of them saying who their favourite Saints player is and why. The winner will have the chance to read out the team sheet pre-match during the warm up.

Design the Team Sheet - Junior fans need to draw their best Saints crest or picture of St Mary's. The winner will see their artwork appear on our social media on the matchday.

Design the Matchday Graphic - Fans will need to draw what they enjoy most about St Mary's. The winner's artwork will be posted on the socials on the day.

Any group bookings made for the match will also have the opportunity to win their spots in the Half-Time relay.

There is also the chance to win a 25/26 signed shirt.

For ticketing, we're offering a deeper discount on group bookings. Starting at 10% off for a group of 10, Saints fans can benefit for an increased discount on their group booking (15 for 15% off, 20 for 20% off and 25% off for a group of 25 or more). This is to make it easier for schools, grassroots teams and friendship groups to enjoy the day together.

Yr 4 parents NOTICE

Due to a year 4 event tomorrow, PE will be on Monday next week (Mon 2nd March) instead of tomorrow (Fri 27th Feb)

This means yr 4 will have PE next week on Monday 2nd March, Wednesday 4th March and Friday 6th march! This is a one off.
