🦖🌈🦕There was lots of excitement across the school on Tuesday as Teach Rex visited with Jam the dinosaur and his babies. 🦖🌈🦕

Sam and Erin from the Teach Rex team were outstanding throughout the visit. They engaged brilliantly with the children and adapted their approach thoughtfully to meet the needs of every pupil they interacted with.

The children were captivated by the dinosaurs and engaged brilliantly throughout the sessions. It was a joy to see their excitement, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning. Here's a few snaps from the day and we also have a green screen video the children made during a workshop!

Two new roles have been created to support the school's continued expansion - one focused on family support and the other focused on medical.

Family support:
You will play a central role in removing barriers to learning through the provision of practical, emotional, and early intervention support. The post offers an opportunity to develop and maintain positive, trusting relationships, support family engagement, facilitate access to relevant services and entitlements through effective signposting, and promote pupil wellbeing through targeted family support and improved access to education.

Medical:
You will work closely with teaching staff, families, and external professionals to provide high-quality care and support to our pupils, in line with school policies and statutory guidance, many of whom have additional medical needs alongside their special educational needs. You will work collaboratively with external professionals to promote wellbeing, support inclusion, and enable pupils to access education in a safe and supportive environment.

Both roles are 30 hours per week 8.45am - 3.15pm.
