Very proud of all our students who graduated yesterday, including Amelia Silverthorne who was awarded the Woodcut Media Post Production Prize 👏
In 2014, two of our students Adam Gonthier and Luke Tench pitched to us they wanted to film a pub gig raising money for a children's cancer charity. Five years later, the Teddy Rocks Festival is at a much bigger venue and this year raised more than £100,000 - at the same time as giving our current TV Production students real world learning experience. The scheme offers financial aid and mentoring to students from low income backgrounds studying television production.

Death mask documentary wins RTS Award A film featuring the lead singer of Alabama 3, death masks and Jacob Rees-Mogg has helped five Solent University television students scoop the Best Student Factual TV award at the recent Royal Television Society (RTS) Southern Region Awards.
