I’m feeling so proud of the three students I tutored up to their GCSE maths this year. They got two 8s and a 7 between them- so well deserved. A good work ethic and asking lots of questions is so key in learning. I will really miss them!

For the first time in quite a while I have 2 spare tutoring slots for September. I mainly tutor maths (up to GCSE) and english to year 6. I am so proud of the three girls who have taken their GCSE maths this year. They all made such wonderful progress, I am very sure that they are going to do brilliantly.
Do let me know if you are interested in 1:1 tutoring for your child. The lessons are at my home in Bursledon and I don't have spaces available very often.

Being able to give very specific, tailored help to my pupils is such a privilege. As a teacher in school, you are always stretching yourself between so many. Tutoring is very rewarding; taking pupils from anxiety about learning to a place of quiet confidence.

I am so enjoying tutoring GCSE Maths. It stretches me in a really good way. I’ve always loved making mathematical concepts as understandable as possible. Drawing a picture, sometimes, can help even at quite a complex level!!!
