28 students from one of our long‑standing international partner colleges, Microfusa in Spain, visited our Southampton campus at the end of February. Travelling from Barcelona and Madrid, the students met key academic staff from our music degrees alongside current Solent students who previously studied at Microfusa.
Through our established partnership, Microfusa students are able to enter directly into the third year of Solent’s music degrees. This pathway enriches the student experience, strengthens our international collaboration, and reinforces our commitment to building a vibrant global community.
Reflecting on the visit, Microfusa’s Jonathan Espinosa shared: “It was a pleasure to meet you all and to receive such a warm welcome. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the visit and were impressed by the atmosphere at Solent University.”
